Systems like this fail eventually. Why add another way to get stranded somewhere due to a sensor failure? Cars back then weren’t shining stars of reliability already!

Nice! I came from a ‘14 Wrangler Unlimited because that thing was a lemon. I’m probably going to get the wife a JL in 2ish year’s once they work the bugs out. I may look to go CPO 340xi or something along those lines next, but not really sure.

Too late to adjust my comment, but may have been from the pressure of the water entering through the front grille. Car was brand new.

Thinking on it more, it may have just been the amount of water being sprayed in through the front grill. I’m not 100% sure on the source, all I know is that it sounded like a hooptie for about an hour after I got that wash. I use the manual bays when I can and those are fine, so it may have just been that specific

It may have been isolated to that 1 touchfree system, as I’ve never had the issue in the rain or when I’m using a pressure washer on the car.

Nope, nothing from rain or using the manual pressure washer bays. It may just have been the angle of that specific touchless system that I went to. It also could have been the amount of water sprayed through the general front grill area as well, not necessarily the hood scoop.

I can’t use these with my ‘16 WRX, or at least I somewhat refuse to. The high pressure water gets sprayed down my hood scoop, then my engine is screechy/squeals for the next hour due to the wet belts.

Looks like they did an inverse of the current F150 headlights.

Or a large barn.

Could potentially have been an alternate component build, with that denoting either which subassembly changed or something else along those lines.

Name checks out

Why not? The top 10% of earners pay almost 70% of federal income tax, and the top 25% over 86%.

I live in an expensive area in the northeast, own a house in that price range, and would have been hurt by only being able to deduct a $500k mortgage worth of mortgage interest as proposed by the house. I would identify as upper middle class with strong upward momentum. I’m primarily disagreeing that it’s all

Why should you have to pay a tax on money that has already been taxed (estate tax)? It’s BS, just like excise tax in some states. Pay a tax to park your car on your property that you pay tax on, with money you’ve been taxed on.

My WRX is silver so... I wouldn’t be able to tell.

I’m excited that the hinges/doors are aluminum on the new JL Wrangler. The hinges are the first thing to catch errant rocks/gravel and chip, then they start to rust. Aluminum should solve that issue.

“Republican leaders in the U.S. House and Senate have come to a compromise on legislation that primarily aims to cut taxes for corporations and the wealthy”

If that’s the case, then Jeep’s Wrangler paint must be salt-based.

It feels like you’re hopping into the adult version of a Power Wheels. You can drop the top when you want, drive through feet of snow if you decide to, and I would argue it’s the vehicle that gives you the most freedom to do what you want.

I think Tom M. was able to find some at or slightly below sicker. Definitely not $12k below sticker though. It’s all a game anyway, the truck sales prey on people who see a big discount % and decide that is a great deal.
