Auxiliary small engine to power brakes/hydraulics is my thought too. It’s probably there to be redundant so that in the rare occasion you run out of power going down hill somehow, you can still stop.

These are also great for when you want to thoroughly wash your undercarriage. Just be very careful to set them up on a flat/smooth surface. Pretty much all reports of them breaking/cracking/failing have to do with them being used on uneven surfaces.

Debatable - they make a royalty on anything with a Lightning adapter on it, but wouldn’t with USB-C. This, and the microchip built into the connector, are part of why Lightning cables are so much more expensive than Micro USB / USB-C. USB-C is more than Micro USB, but nowhere near Lightning.

This is going full circle. The “Dealzmodo” on Gizmodo was like this before the world got Kinja’d. Each site used to have their own deals, catering to the people who read the specific sites. The deals were also just posted one day, not recycled for weeks at a time. It made it MUCH easier to see new/interesting deals

I went from a ‘14 JKU Wrangler with the Pentastar to a ‘16 WRX. Kind of apples to oranges here too, because Wrangler was Auto and WRX is Manual. The WRX is easy to bog down though until you get the RPM up. This is especially apparent when you blast the AC. I haven’t driven a stick wrangler through so can’t really

They also lived most of their lives there. Midwest was a dead zone for them.

Is it bad that the Jeep didn’t surprise me? Ever since the “Dragon Edition” I have zero faith in their special editions.

That’s the problem. Have the ATF re-examine them, determine that they qualify as modification turning a semi-automatic into a Class III firearm, and then only the people who could buy a fully-automatic would have access to them.

Depends - My ‘99 9-5 had 164k miles on it and almost no rust. It lived outside its whole life, primarily in NH. There was one small spot the size of a quarter where the paint had bubbled, but the undercarriage looked fantastic.

I had a ‘99 9-5 with the 2.3t engine. When transmission went at 164k I sold it for $1300 as a parts car. Now I wish I had the time/space to part it out, but was about to move and in college. Definitely NP if it moves in the forward direction.

I posted a 100% respectful comment, but it was probably Kinja’d down low. This nastier one you saw was solely in response to “Pink Footpath” but he edited his comment. Originally his comment was something along the lines of “If only some republicans could grow some balls and ban xyz.” but with more expletives.

Thanks for the uninformed comment. Some random gun accessory company that doesn’t make guns came out with an accessory that they thought would sell. They ran it through Obama’s ATF, which said “yeah, that’s fine, go ahead and sell it! No regulation required!”

The paintball version on Tippmanns at least just routes some air from the tank to a piston behind the trigger. You couldn’t apply that specific application to a real gun without compressed air, but it would also be highly illegal. You’re not allowed to modify a firearm to become fully automatic.

Duh that’s why everyone needs to go pay $40+ at CVS and carry Narcan everywhere!

That’s not how it works though. That’s why we have half of the problems and inconsistencies that exist today. When a politician decides guns are scary (95% of the time not a republican), they try to push some extremely partisan law/proposal and it dies. Some of these proposals actually think about how guns work, but

You should add that the NRA is supportive of opening bump stocks up to potential regulation, essentially telling the ATF to do their job. Chris Cox said tonight that any device that takes a semi automatic firearm and and gives it the same capabilities as a fully automatic firearm that would normally be highly

This is beautiful.

Debatable - Look at Honda, doing away with the volume knob/many buttons, or early Ford Sync. Yes I know they have both since improved, but touchscreens for primary control SUCK in an automobile.

You could be right. I feel like at this point Mexico, especially touristy areas, are probably up to snuff from a purification standpoint.
