I don’t think you’re alone at all. A lot of people seem to feel that way. David Lynch is kind of a polarizing guy. Not that Mark Frost doesn’t have a voice in the return, but the new season feels very much like a Lynch project. If Lynch isn’t your thing, I can see why you wouldn’t like it.

It’s so good, and people are sleeping on it. Lynch is doing amazing things with this new form he’s basically inventing as he goes. This isn’t a movie and it’s not a tv show. Makes me wish he would direct an adaptation of Pynchon’s “Bleeding Edge”.

You guys, Season 3 is so good. I’m only a little disappointed that he’s explaining things too much (the exposition given this week in the first scene, for example, which I wouldn’t spoil here, is one instance).

“cats, I get it now.”

And thank you. I don’t get a whole lot of positivity in here.

Any division between the human beings is wrong, except that we must not let any person harm another, if possible — only in the case of an oppressor or person causing deliberate harm can we justly categorize that person in a negative light, but they will have earned it by their actions, and the love of the greater

Hush now, and pass the gravy.

I had pretty much the same experience with Flip or Flop. Started hatewatching but then realized they actually seem like decent people. Also, Christina sounds just like Lumpy Space Princess when she talks, and I love it.

Tarek and Christina (the Flip or Flop couple) used to annoy me to the point I thought I was going to start pulling out hair. Then I noticed something:

My mother once said she wanted me to marry someone like Chip Gaines. I told her that unless she wanted to get used to visiting me in prison after I murdered him, it was time to let that dream die.

I know I am not the only one who has spent the last 4 days blindingly drunk, but I actually called into work today just to specifically get crap housed again. I am a chef at a country club and I don’t know if I can make food for a bunch of Trump supporters anymore. I seriously don’t know if I can do it anymore.

Nonsense Ram is brilliant. So is Band on the Run. And he’s made 8 or 10 other records that qualify as good to really good. Paul has written tons of great songs and tons of bad songs but it’s unfair to define him by his worst, and ludicrous to call him a “jingle writer.”

That guy fucks.

Phil is a killer musician. Like him or not.

“the spirit that scared you as a child meant you harm, and you will have two more such visitations in your lifetime.”

I will preface this with the fact that unnatural movements freak me out. A lot.

It’s a painfully raw performance—accompanied and enhanced by frequent, intimate close-ups of Laura’s face—and over two hours, it can get a bit exhausting.

I always liked Shelly
