I think this is why I like this take on Galadriel. For most of LOTR she’s this queenlike figure (there is that one scary scene, tho) who’s so placid and elegant - but here we get gritty Galadriel. I like it.

Having black elves and dwarves and people in middle earth is one of the things I absolutely LOVE about this series. They still all talk like they’re on Downton Abbey, but that’s the milieu, so fine. What I’m still uncertain of is why all Dwarves seem to have Scottish accents, truth be told.
