1. I don't.
2. Okay.
3. I appreciate compartmentalization, but I also appreciate the wild hysteria that erupts every time Peta's name is mentioned. People who eat dead animal three times a day, and who wouldn't stop for a stray dog if they saw on, are suddenly UP IN ARMS!! because Peta, like all dog shelters,

There's no evidence that any Peta member has ever harassed a blind person. They advocate against it, but that doesn't mean they're harassing.

Great. Now that I read her explanation it makes total sense.

Tell it to your great grandkids when they're roasted alive.

No, the reason they give you the "side eye," to the extent they do at all, its because at some level they know you're right, and that the meat industry is THE leading cause of global warming, not to mention all the horrible working conditions, not to mention the torture and murder the industry perpetrates against

Sure thing.

Sure. It's pretty easy for you to kick back with dead lobster and melted butter all over your disgusting mouth and complain that well-meaning people are doing a poor job of trying to save animals' lives.

I'm sure there are lots of animal rights groups that do all sorts of things that comport with what the meat industry wants, and that's why we never hear from them.

Of course, they do it out of mercy, where others will not.

Right. The CONTEXT left out of that hit piece is that PETA euthanizes animals that are uncurably aggressive, sick, hurt, elderly, or at death's door and because no good homes exist for them.

Good for Peta. Always being provocative and doing anything to try and chip away at the monolithic message of the meat industry.

You should read up and realize they've done more to promote vegetarianism and harass the meat industry than anyone. They've played a huge role in moving fast foods off of industrialized meat, and in ending the Sea World whale performances.

So dumb! People trying in good faith to save other living creatures. What imbeciles!

Right. The only thing more self-righteous than a PETA member is a meat eater faced with a PETA member.

Right, your friend's anecdotal evidence is enough to condemn an organization that works tirelessly for animal rights. Let me guess, you also eat bacon?

Yeah, the problem is that the CGI characters were the weakest part of the Force Awakens. Both Snope and Lupita's character were blatantly underdone—they look like leftovers from some TV show.

He was always trying to get arty with the short stories. I prefer the novels where nothing happens (except hilarity).

This is how I wrote when I was working on a PhD in literary criticism. Thank god I quit that.

Somebody call me when this guy accidentally shoots that beam of fire up his nostril.

I saw a western with Kevin Coster where they shot like 10 people and no one in the theater gave half a shit. Then they shot a DOG and the whole place fell apart.
