Because Spacey hasn’t been convicted of anything yet, her lawyers/manager are probably telling her to play it safe and not say anything that suggests she thinks he’s guilty.

Experienced predators - which Spacey appears to be - are very good at only revealing themselves in situations where they have the power, and where the revealing only happens for their intended victims. It’s obvious to me Spacey was acting like a normal person around Wright.

I’ve liked her well enough in the small amount of roles I’ve seen.

It doesn’t work. Lucy Liu is really good in it, though.

Actually my favorite Modest Mouse record.

You’re not missing much with Lucky Number Slevin. Movie is bad.

It’s much better than Season 4. And while it has a slightly different vibe, it’s more due to the characters being older and the stories shifting to reflect that. Brewster and David are great additions to the cast.

I strongly disagree.

While Shirley and Troy were missed, Season 6 of Community was pretty fantastic overall.

This was a good thing to see. Brown can do everything Hardwick is capable of, and she’s also far more talented. I think the full-time gig should be hers if she wants it.

Armed Forces is definitely frontloaded, no argument here.

Are you referring to “Sunday’s Best?” Not the greatest Costello song, but the Armed Forces side 2 does have “Two Little Hitlers,” “Moods for Moderns” and “(What’s So Funny About) Peace, Love and Understanding.”

I definitely think it is.

Wow, that 90's hair on Hanks may be the most dated thing in the movie. Yowza.

He’s definitely still a talented actor who can bring the A game (his work as George Sr. in this most recent season of AD is exceptional). His baggage - not just the allegations of sexual harassment, but the revelation of just how awful his temper/verbal abuse can be - is making a lot of people think twice about hiring

Oh yeah, Wowee Zowee is some kind of landmark - no other record has the same appeal. And “Father to a Sister of Thought” is my favorite Pavement song.

It’s definitely more “traditional” - guitars are very heavy throughout.

Also, is it verboten to suggest Donnie Darko is not really that good?

It’s actually Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain. But it’s weird to put Pavement in this discussion because they started great and remained great until they called it a day in ‘99.

I’d say he matched and surpassed My Aim Is True with Armed Forces. As well as some others.
