I am in love with Kristen Bouchard. Whenever she saunters into frame to antagonize Leland, I fall further.

Just went back to check thinking maybe I’d misinterpreted that scene. She definitely says “Oh, you do?” The subtitles have it written that way, too. Which I’m glad for. It’s a better response, IMHO.
Oh, agreed. McAdams deserved a meatier role than “love interest,” but I was glad they gave her more to do in this last one.
Theron showed up, and you immediately go, “Yeah, okay, I can see how Cumberbatch gets over Rachel McAdams for her.” Not just because she’s maybe one of the most beautiful women on the planet, but because she exudes power and authority. I would follow her into battle, if she asked.
The way technology seems to be evolving in the Star Wars galaxy, it will look exactly the same as the last 1,000 years except maybe a little more streamlined. Or, if they’re bold about it, the technology will actually be worse.
Second time I bring up Sunset Overdrive, a game that embraced the theme park feel/vibe that a 3D Sonic game should. But I mean, y’all had a good thing going with the Sonic Adventure series. How have none of these developers managed to build upon what kids like me liked from that era?
If I never have to “craft” anything in a game again, it’ll be too soon. Just let me buy the bigger rucksack or whatever, game. I don’t have the time.
I recently went back to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and I used WeMod to instantly teleport me to any waypoint I put on the map with a press of a button.
own self-insert in the game.
Finished Divinity: Original Sin II a few months back, and I have aching—aching—for an experience like that one ever since. An RPG that respects my time but allows for me to be surprised and experiment with the world. Tried the latest Pathfinder and Pillars of Eternity but neither had the smooth combat or UI that D:OS…
I do think him going to kill Moss was, in a way, for Cousineau as much as it was for him. An extension of him offering his only talents up to people he cares for. Like, if the set-up hadn’t been that Gene was going to kill Moss out of desperation, Barry might not have gone in there and tried to kill him in that moment.…
Anthony Carrigan played Zsasz? That’s incredible casting. How did I never know this? I mean, never watched the show, I guess, but still!
I guess it was a generous parting gift for her to grant him an “I love you too” before getting on the plane.
Wild, off-the-rails season. Things happened, and I was vibing with them the entire time. The horrible anxiety that this season gave me was matched only by the sheer highs. To quote my wife, “this show is really fucking good.”
...oh yeah, I should finish Deathloop. That opening ruled, but then I got sidetracked and never felt compelled to go back. Bummer.
I’m a fan of Kojima’s like, deal to a point, but...most of that fandom is also coasting on those first few MGS games. I did not enjoy Phantom Pain, Death Stranding looked like a slog so far, and, while PT and Silent Hills might have been incredible, they didn’t end up existing. So I can’t really say I’ve enjoyed his…
He’s helming Quantum Break 2. I don’t know how, but he is.
Oh man, this absolutely rules.
It’s a, uh, live D&D show. She’s on it. It’s also become this huge media empire—books, board games, and an animated series—and she heads its charity arm. I dunno. It’s good.
Barry is deeply, deeply broken, and I think you’re right that, at his core, he’s not evil. He’s so desperate for love and affection and validation that he will do whatever is asked of him to get it, up to and including killing people for money. Fuches is evil. But Barry’s a monster. He’s the dog turned feral and…
