It’s a shame that the drama surrounding the song is overshadowing how cool this performance was. It was a marathon performance and she kind of nailed it. I’d love for her to host soon. She and Ariana Grande are a few of the A-list singers who I think are more than capable of pulling double duty
(I’ll add that Taylor’s marathon performance was great, and so was her appearance in the PDD short. I’d love to see her host soon.)
Also, god damn it, I hate this website’s layout. The ad makes it impossible to read the content. How does it only seem to get worse with time, y’all? You’re doing a disservice to the writers, editors, readers, and commenters.
A few thoughts:
Don’t know how this show does it, but they’re able to come up with new takes on uniquely hate-able (rich) dipshits almost every episode. What a talent! They all suck but in unique and realistically horrible ways.
Ahh, this I did not know.
Why should I read the comments first? Because folks are already talking about what I wanted to talk about.
How long until the Joe Schmo Show sees its rightful return?
Zhao’s a fantastic director, and I think she’d have succeeded if she’d been allowed to focus on a singular hero/property. Something closer to street-level. Eternals is seemingly world-changing and huge in scope, right?
Zhao’s naturalistic color palette goes to mud.
I dunno. The boxes being in his office screams plant to me. Like, why would Kendall just leave the boxes there? He’s dense but not that dense.
Yeah, people were mean and weird. Like, “oh no! I am so distracted that this person is on this show!” But other famous people were on the show before in other cameos. Sigur Ros, the National, etc. His part was fine and he did a fine job.
The Psych movies are why I got it. But Girls5eva and Rutherford Falls are both solid/fun shows.
If nothing else, I’m a fan of John Cho’s take on Spike (who should always have been mid-30s rather than 27), and I’m willing to follow Daniella Pineda’s take on Faye right off of a cliff. I don’t know if it will feel like a “real show,” but, if it has to happen, I’m more than willing to give what I’ve seen a fair shot.
I hope they don’t “fix” this, though. Dropping it like that rules.
Shea Serrano’s great. I love that guy.
...anyway, can’t wait to play this because whenever that music starts up, i get verklempt.
If this campaign is more Halo 4, which I consider one of the best in the franchise (top two, maybe), and less Halo 5, which was sadly one of the worst...well, I’ll be happy. If it lands somewhere in the middle, I don’t know how I’ll feel. Mulitplayer’s fun, at least.
He, Peter, and Gamora are in a poly relationship.
