Yeah, it was in Watch Dogs 2. A game which had such potential that went unfulfilled. That and the Assassin’s Creed Multiplayer mode were both really fun, and it’s a shame they’ve more or less disappeared. Or maybe were never as popular as they should’ve been.
Yeah, same. Watched a movie last night. They’re still spacing people out—thank goodness—but nobody in the theater was wearing a mask. Outside of the movie theater, it was a crapshoot, but inside? Nope. I guess I have to get used to that. I’m vaccinated—thank goodness—so that’s just going to have to be existence from…
Personally, I don’t need to be thinking “God, Cruella is basically just every girl I had a crush on in high school and college, isn’t she? Maybe she had a point about the whole puppy killing thing.” I am easily led.
I’m never more of a simp than when an actor that I think is supremely talented as a dramatic actor is also apparently talented comedically.
It would be cool to y’know see Finn get some sort of definitive ending. He deserves that, I think.
Nah.
I imagine a “solar flare” is happening sometime in the future.
EXACTLY. I kept thinking: sure, maybe a couple of people died, but I refuse to believe that these things wouldn’t have been dead in a couple of weeks, max. From the trailer, I thought, “well maybe they’re some sort of psychic monster that are impervious to bullets,” but they’re not! They die when you shoot and blow…
Bruce Timm working on Batman? Yeah, I’m watching.
Good for them! Did they ever apologize to that froyo place for trying to tank their business a couple of weeks ago?
The Purge TV series actually shows how they deal with these issues. Basically, CCTV + Detectives Whose Job It Is To Investigate Crimes.
I mean, the protagonists always come out on top. Sure, some die, but for the most part, it’s surprisingly hopeful about most of humanity.
...they’re actually pretty good movies. Look, they’re not high art, but they’re solid B-movies. “Evil Super Republicans Create Murder Holiday to Take Out Minorities and Poor People.”
Sigh.
I miss Janet Weiss’ drums. Yes, Carrie still shreds, and Corin still rips. But you can’t have Sleater-Kinney at full-force without Janet friggin’ Weiss.
Is it weird that I’m really proud of Bautista? He’s had such a fascinating career. Yeah, he does the occasional action movie worthy of his athletic prowess, but then he gets cast in stuff like Blade Runner 2049, Dune, or the new Knives Out. He’s one of the few wrestlers-turned-actors who I feel loves the craft.
The Snyder of video games...except he’s talented at both spectacle and quiet moments, and his works are capable of inciting in me real emotions. Everything from joy to despair.
You have not met hungover me, a sloth of a man.
I had fun this season. Didn’t quite love everyone as much as season one, but: Chloe is made to be on TV; she’s so entertaining. Deleesa deserved to win. I liked Jack’s running commentary. It was fun. I’ll tune in next season.
