I adore her. I don’t know when I first started following her work—it’s been a couple of years now, I’m sure—but seeing her star rise so quickly has been a joy. She’s so damn funny. Excited to check this one out.

I respect your opinion and this thoughtful review. However, I have heard it has a lot of people punching each other, and I think I still need to see that.

Here’s what’s so funny about the Texas GOP’s recent anti-education moves. Last legislative session they spent the majority of it trying to prove how much they looooooove teachers because of their losses in 2018. Now they’re trying to use House Bill 3 as a shield against any criticisms of their budget cuts/etc.…

Okay, but when are we going to talk about the show’s weird approach to killing. Like, Sam goes from gleefully murdering a half-a-dozen guys in the first episode to somehow...being weird about it?

He’s one of the few actors out there with the charisma to portray DOOM as he ought to be portrayed. The other actor who would be perfect for the role would be his brother, Lars.

I could see Metal Sonic being the villain for this one, like in that one Sonic OVA, and then hinting at Shadow at the end.

Personally, I’d rather she had helmed a Qi’ra mini-series on Disney+. I want to see a “The Sopranos but Star Wars” show, Disney! But sure, Emilia Clarke the SuperSkrull (or Lyja, maybe?) works for me, too.

Ted’s panic attack broke my heart. 

Wonderful news. Ted Lasso is such a fun character. Full of kindness and optimism, but he’s also an adult. He’s not naïve. He’s not stupid. He’s just a good dude, and I love that. They let him have moments of weakness and humanity that a lesser show wouldn’t. Can’t wait for season two.

Do y’all remember that Andre 3000 had a cartoon in which he taught a bunch of kids about the power of music.
