A goddamn legend. A true queen of the screen, and one of the funniest actors that I have ever had the pleasure of watching act. This ain’t just blowing smoke. Her work on Archer and Arrested Development are two of the funniest performances of the 21st century. Both shows will be less for her absence. This loss makes

Vex is my favorite character from that campaign. So, yes, I’ll read this.

Wait, holy shit...it is!! That’s rad.

It slows down after that. Gets into the burgeoning Republic of Pirates in Nassau. It does jump around and hint at “future events,” but I like that kind of history hopping in my documentaries.

Anyone else watching The Lost Pirate Kingdom? It’s a Golden Age of Piracy docu-series. It’s got over-the-top re-enactments, an older, kind of dotty sounding narrator, plenty of historians quoted, and it’s loads of fun.

Oh, cool. I wonder if this will tie into the Mister Mind tease at all? Dude’s scary!

I did that, too. I had gotten pretty far into it, post-release. Then got burned out for more than a year. Dipped back into it and started burning through a lot of quests. Finished the first DLC. Then finished Elysium. Then somewhere into Hades I just turned it off with no desire to turn it back on. I imagine it will

I still haven’t beaten Odyssey. I’m in Hades, and I’m just...wiped. You know? It’s too much.

If the next game lets me finish the campaign in under 100 hours, I’ll be very happy.

I don’t think I ever played with another player during my time with the game.

As a huge fan of Hawkeye, I hate it here.

Felt like the beginning of a movie, like others said. I imagine, unlike WandaVision, this one was designed with binging in mind. Not a bad thing, mind. It’s just it felt like it ended abruptly.

Fun!

That’s legit mostly the reason why I’m interested. That and finally having an excuse to clear my backlog.

You know, I’ve considered streaming a little bit. Just audio commentary + some gameplay. No one would watch, I’m sure, but that’s fine. Wife doesn’t care to hear me talk about Disco Elysium. Maybe one person would.

I’m playing through vanilla Disco Elysium right now. Taking my time with it. I’m a sorry cop who’s trying to do good: high logic and empathy but a total schlub. I want to go full disco, but I know I’m not disco. It’s a sad state of affairs, but I gotta be true to my dude. The upgrade’s coming at just the right time, I

Watched ‘Colette’ earlier today, and it’s a gorgeous, somber reminder about how WWII and its atrocities weren’t so long ago. Colette, her brother, and her family are heroes. There’s a moment about 11 minutes into it that broke my heart and then my heart broke for her again about two minutes later. Colette herself is

Feels like the biggest hurdle for older video game movie adaptations is a lack of trust in or knowledge of the source material. (Except for Warcraft, which is an exception that sort of proves the rule.)

So, speaking of WW84: I liked a lot of it. (Mostly Pedro Pascal who was charming and affable and the right amount of absolute slimeball.) I also didn’t connect with a lot of it. It often felt like, well...a TV movie? Or a side-quel? Not a proper, big budget sequel worthy of the character and her abilities. Still,

My shot-in-the-dark: Cole Young’s name sounds like another character’s real name.
