lauren cohan’s cool

Dude’s taking the breakup hard. Well, whatever, he deserves the award. Ted Lasso had a wonderful first season, and Sudeikis anchored it with his charisma and warmth.

Well, that’s fine. I don’t have a PS5 or Series X anyway.

Norton is a better Banner, IMO. I like Ruffalo well enough for his Hulk, but his Banner is just super chill? Like, all the time? Norton’s Banner had this simmering rage under the surface that I liked.

It’s always great to see McKinnon not playing a white, middle-aged Republican ghoul.

The show’s got a lot of potential. It’s made me laugh on several occasions, and the cast of characters is solid. I think a season two would cement it a solid-to-great workplace comedy. Now, if they could only send Orly off to college or something. No fault of the actor, but the character’s a huge drag.

Wait, he’s not a DC fan? Huh. Well, I liked his Captain America book, so we know he can write the idealistic hero stuff well, and his Black Panther run started out fantastic.

Ta-Nehisi Coates is a brilliant writer to tap for a 21st century Superman movie. He seems like he would get that Clark should be at his core just a good, decent man trying his best. And since he’s a former journalist I think he could make that side of Clark’s life compelling, too.

I think as long as they either go far into the future or far into the past—leaving the ATLA and Korra timeframes untouched—it could work.

I’d be fine with them aging everyone up, but (per the unsourced rumor, mind you) Sokka’s younger now. Aang’s the same age he was before?

Apparently the rumor is that the Netflix adaptation is making Katara the elder sister, and the same age as Zuko? Which I’m taking to mean they’re trying to push the Zuko/Katara thing—ughh—but also that they completely misunderstand the importance of Katara being the “mother” of the group while being younger than

I, uh, you’re entitled to your opinion, I guess. But I’ll add that I am of the opinion that there are absolutely good—even superior—English dubs out there, and we probably should have moved past hating dubs as a past-time. Most are comparable to the original.  (I mean: Cowboy Bebop’s dub exists. Samurai Champloo’s dub

This book is so silly.

I adore this run.

you joke but that’s maybe the only use of that song in a movie that matches its inherent sad horniness

Boring, boring, boring. The only interesting part was Serena P. being the second person to dump Matt. He’s obviously all-in on Rachael. So, fine, good for him. But the dude was not able to carry this season, and, sadly, without all the manufactured drama...I’m just bored.

It’s funny. Early on, the Destiny 1 & 2 PVP were some of my favorite PVP experiences. But yeah, wow, it’s been a mess for a bit. Terrible when the new abilities showed up. Then Felwinter’s Lie, ugh.
