Breath of the Wild bored and frustrated me more than it amazed me, even though it did occasionally amaze me. But as much as the desolation of Hyrule felt considered and purposeful, the many, many irksome mechanics—stamina, inventory management, and fragile weaponry—kept me from fully engaging with the world. I peaced

I wonder if the Xbox One—base—can run Control better than my OG PS4, which refused to actually play any of the two expansions without freezing for seconds at a time. Was weirdly able to play the full game with only minor framerate hiccups, though. But the expansions? Forget about it. Still adore this game, though.

Hell yeah, I’m happy about this news.

Shaxx and Mara make no sense at all, but it also makes 100% sense. It rules.

I can’t believe how badly they fucked up Iron Fist considering they had the Immortal Iron Fist as a blueprint.

In a recent comment responding to a desire for a Community movie on his Instagram page, Dan Harmon wrote: “stay tuned.” This means absolutely nothing but God, the hope.

Alison Brie should get all the movies she wants.

Carl Weathers’ direction during the vehicle chase and dogfight was fantastic. He really knew how to sell the Fury Road-esque action. I’m impressed and happy at how director-driven this show’s been. Just letting different folks get their hands on some Star Wars.

I swear, Rahul Kohli better not have been laying these exact clues down this whole time. By which I mean he absolutely should since he’s 110% who I want cast as Ezra.

It’s Adam Baldwin all over again. Like, just, please, God, shut up, stop being an asshole, and let me like you as an actor.

Aww, dang. I thought that might have been the case, but I wasn’t sure. I wish there was an indication of this kind of thing somewhere in the Quests tab.

This was a fun little diversion. I laughed out loud at the Kid with the wires and when the two Stormtroopers crashed into each other trying to chase them off the ridge. Just a fun touch by Weathers who did a marvelous job this episode with the action. It was familiar but familiar in a good way, IMO.

I just want to be able to do the quest for the Ace of Spades but am unable to get Banshee to give it to me. I completed all of the Forsaken campaign, I think?? I can’t find any other quest markers for it. Gahh. I wish there were a way to easily get through the Legacy quests.

Now playing

I have nothing to add to this, really. Reagan sucks, and it’s a little surprising that this game doesn’t take a more critical eye at the damn near irreparable damage caused by his administration. But maybe not that surprising.

“The man made a movie with a monkey. It wouldn’t be dignified.”

I respect the audacity.

I don’t know that I have ever been able to play with another person even after leaving matchmaking on for like, five-1o minutes. It’s always been bots.

Oh, Ashly Burch does sound exactly like I imagined Kate Bishop sounding.

Sunset Overdrive was a lot of fun for what it was, but I will always love it for one reason: it has my favorite character created character of any game I have ever played. My favorite OC. She felt like a real person, and she will live on forever in my memories and save file—being too rad for a sequel, alas.

I want to feel again after ABC canceled Whiskey Cavalier and then personally tricked me by renewing Stumptown and then canceling it.
