On the one hand, yeah. Yes. On the other, acts that aren’t strictly pop or aren’t pop-adjacent would never get recognized or rightly awarded without the Latin Grammys. Latinidad is such a huge tapestry of countries, cultures, ethnicities, and races that even the Latin Grammys are barely able to recognize it all. I

You scared me for a second.

Did she have girl power?

Found Jamie Spears.

Yeah, like, he used the Force on ‘em, right? The kid’s smart enough even as a toddler that he knows he shouldn’t. So, even if it’s just that he hasn’t had a good meal in a while...

This whole situation is so very, very fucked up.

I want the Series X because GamePass is too good of a deal to pass up. I might eventually get the PS5 Pro or whatever in a few years to finally play those exclusives. Yep. That’s where I’m at.

Agreed. Luther needs a win, poor guy, but at least they gave Diego a Catwoman, which I liked.

I was finishing up some older missions on Mars when I got the alert. I made it in, and made it all the way to the end of the stroll to where you “interact” with the door. I then got kicked. Tried to rejoin and was queue 420—nice—then it refreshed and suddenly I was queue 10,265. The Last City was very pretty, though,

I would argue that Enchanted was Oscar worthy as well.

I get it, and I don’t get it. But I grew up on the border, and Christ, fiction (or even non-fiction) written by people not from there love to dehumanize us, too. Reduce us to caricatures of poverty stricken immigrants while ignoring the beauty, the culture, the good of the area, or not going deeper into why the bad

Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham, the two Republicans I learned to despise before I had even really formed my political opinions. (Thank you, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, for putting a spotlight on how awful they are for 12-year-old me.) I will celebrate so hard once they’re gone.

Desmond’s what

I want to know what’s up with the “Abstergo Employee” character from ACIV.

I got the “sad dinner” ending because I, apparently, answered a question wrong while at the jail, and it made me quit the game for a whole month. Then I put off playing for several other months because the naval gameplay was such a slog.

I’m ambivalent about Layla. I liked her well enough in Origins but she was almost insufferable in Odyssey. If the pay-off is that she becomes a major villain in the franchise, then sure, but otherwise I have no idea how to feel about her. All that said, oh man, I’m so, so excited to see Shaun and Rebecca again, if I

I’m going to go against the likely grain here and say...you should play through the Ezio arc—AC II, Brotherhood, and Revelations—before you get to these. Those three may not be what the games have become, but they, to me, represent the narrative heights of the franchise. ACII took what worked from the first game,

Oh, Layla’s still the lead in this?

Clone High is one of those shows that I can trace back as one of the key pillars of my sense of humor. I was around 10/11 years old when I stumbled upon the “funny Abe Lincoln” cartoon. My TV had one of those parental control filters on it so I remember sneaking into my grandpa’s room and watch this show on there
