I guess it’s because they want people to get GamePass so they have their “best” titles on there. That said, no way should they get rid of GWG. I’ve snagged a lot of great games through that and unlike GamePass, which I love, you get these games for good. Keep ‘em together.

The “stranger comes into a strange world and wins people who hate them over with kindness and compassion” stuff, partly. Mostly because England, as I have long assumed, is also full of mutated animal gangs.

Wonderful news! First season was a lovely surprise. Such a kind, funny show. (I also love how it’s basically football Kipo.))

I...look, is this a safe space? It’s not? Well. I just have to get this off my chest. I don’t get the rise of Sarah Cooper. I’m sure she’s a wonderful person, funny in her own way and all, but the TikTok impression bit...? It’s so popular and yet I don’t get what exactly is funny. It’s just lip-syncing! The words are

I have never understood people who care so deeply about what their neighbors get up to. Like, I have never noticed any changes my neighbors make to their front lawns or houses, and even if I did...I wouldn’t care enough to...like, do anything?

BDG! Love that guy.

It’s why I haven’t gone back to Animal Crossing.

I was about to laugh then I looked over and noticed that I still had my HDMI sticker on mine.

I’m so, so, so grateful to Past-Me for buying an entertainment center as wide as the one we have now. It should have more than enough space for the Series X and the PS5 when I inevitably buy it. *whew*

Hey now, if it wins some awards...

If they were smart then they’d cast all three of them to play the same person.

Outlast.

Walk Hard is an A!!!

Watching it. Holy shit, Maria Balakova stole this film. She’s really, really funny in this, and so damn impressive.

Mark Strong’s one of those actors that I sometimes retroactively realize is in movies I enjoy. Not because he’s not a presence—he’s got a great screen presence—but because I forget that I’m watching an actor and not the character. Like, I’m rarely like, “Oh, Mark Strong’s playing x?” No, he’s just the character. And

Oh yeah, no, he’s too old now. Even if he were playing an older Nathan, it wouldn’t fit. But man, twenty years ago? He’d have fit the bill better than most. I think Holland will do a good job with the role. Going to miss North’s voice, though.

Now playing

I think of the Nathan Fillion fan-film from a few years back and can’t help but wonder about what might have been. He’s quippy and got the vibe of someone who keeps showing up in places where he doesn’t belong.

Now there’s a mass murderer you can root for.

I kind of figured that a writer like Ryan North wouldn’t do a half-assed job adapting something like Slaughterhouse-Five. Montey’s art alone makes this seem at least worth checking out.
