I’ll watch anything with Karen Gillan in it, and I’ll probably like it. (*as is tradition, pours out for Selfie, gone at least one season too soon. I just wanted to see her and John Cho make out, ABC, you couldn’t let me have that?!*)

Rad. Can’t wait. It will be nice to have something to take my mind off how Halloween is canceled.

Huh, I...might pick this up, then! Kate Bishop, and now a decent campaign? Neat!

My pitch for the Disney+ series has been: Slightly-Depressed, Divorced Dad Clint mentoring Kate on the weekends when he doesn’t have the kids over at his shitty new apartment and dealing with losing his hearing. And then his brother shows up!

Yeah, it made the excellent argument that these two broken people, together, make up one amazing Hawkeye book. It’s why I don’t find these two as interesting as when they’re in the same book, getting on each other’s nerves, you know?

Wasn’t there a rumor of a Lando Disney+ something or other? I’d love to see what more he could do with the role. Thought he was great. Speaking of, can’t wait to see what the Cassian Andor series ends up being. They’re calling it a :spy thriller,” which I’m all for.

I would watch a sequel to Solo if it follows up on Qi’Ra, absolutely, and would actually love another movie in the vein of Rogue One. But I don’t think we’ll get either for a while.

...and he’s mostly right, yeah.

Started watching this tonight. It’s really good. Dang.

Great interview. Used to read Jefferson’s work on Gawker. Happy to see his success and career grow beyond it. And without a doubt, this episode was a stunning work of television.

I’m in shock. This is unbearably, unbelievably tragic. An immeasurable loss. Chadwick Boseman forever.

God, I want a Quantum Break sequel. That game didn’t get the love it deserves. It was weird, gimmicky, etc., but I was very much invested in seeing what places it went to next.

Absolutely. I have no doubt that if given the chance, he could be an AMAZING Superman in the classic mold, but they keep saddling him with the worst scripts. Dour stuff. Very little smiles or good nature. The dude can be extremely charming and funny—just watch the Man from U.N.C.L.E., a movie to which I desperately

Top .gif just reminds me that as much as Emma Appleton excelled in the role of Renfri, I so wish she’d been saved for a larger role. One full episode wasn’t enough.

One big thing that I appreciated about John Wick 2 was seeing him set up his escape route slash killing floor. I love the first movie, but seeing John be so methodical rather than just be on a spree? Real “this is my design” shit.

*** Pete—or “this attempt at boy Ella,” as I wrote in my notes—is very clearly “nice.” But “nice” is far different from “kind,” and in this case, “kind” (like Ella) is an actual characterization. Or “good,” as Ella considers Maze. “Nice” is not.

My pett theory throughout the last few seasons is that God is also on vacation. They keep hammering home how nobody could talk to God, how nobody knows what God wants, etc., and while that could just be how He is, them mentioning how Michael’s the new Right Hand just gives me the feeling that the throne room’s empty.

This is really stupid. Sometimes people just...own books. I get the bit but god, Book Twitter’s almost as much of a chore to read as Film Twitter. This is the kind of shit that makes me hesitant to buy physical books anymore; it doesn’t stop me, mind, but it’s like, being judged for the books you own is apparently a

I...how? I can’t see how they could possibly translate the PPG aesthetic or sense of whimsy to live action. Plus, the point was that those three LOVE being heroes! They beat the shit outta the bad guys.
