Simon Pegg being Hughie’s dad was fun. And everything they’ve done to amp up Starlight’s role has been a treat. Erin Moriarty is a star.

First season was a surprise treat for me. I was expecting dour and crass, and it wasn’t. Sure, it had echoes of the comic’s worst impulses, but it mostly course corrected. I really enjoyed the directions away from the comic that it went. The season finale twist, in particular, was something I thought was smart. Excited

Started playing Indivisible, thanks to Game Pass, and it really lit a fire in me to play some more 2.5d/2d games after a prolonged stay in the 3D gaming sphere. Psyched to try out CrossCode.

It was a tonally weird game. You can kill people, but these characters never feel like they would do that. They’re not even anarchists—besides Wrench—, not really. They don’t feel like the kind of collective that would do half the stuff the game allows you to do. The game’s a blast—though I hated the lb + hard press =

Great minds. Should’ve read the comments!

Hear me out: the Phantom Stranger (who is actually the John from the original movie) or the Spectre, same thing. I love Keanu’s Constantine. It’s nothing like the comics, but there’s so much good there.

Matthew Rhys is so excellent in the role. Dude just fits as a worn out P.I. Reminds me a little of Elliot Gould, even; a compliment. It took me a bit to want to watch this series. My brain was mush from the state of the world for something so obviously gritty, but I finally dove into these last two and I like it a

Honestly, aim for when you need something pleasant. I’ll say this: the ending actually sort of brought a tear to my eye. It was a dark week when it premiered and I needed some levity and like, earnestness? This movie fit the bill. Perfect? Nah. But Rachel McAdams is Game Night-level in this.

Dogmeat or we riot.

I guess I should finally get around to playing Death Stranding. I kept putting it off because the whole “carefully transport a bunch of boxes across the wild and whacky wilderness” sounded tedious as hell to me. But maybe it’s what I need right now.

I had a parental lock on my TV at that age. Any TV-14 and up shows were no-gos for me (until I eventually just wore my parents down enough that they gave me the code to permanently disable it.) But I would have to sneak into my grandpa’s room while he was at work and hope that they’d show a re-run. I managed to catch

It’s a kid’s game show, sure, but I really, really appreciate them making Best a Jedi in this. I hope they do end up doing more with his character. I love shit like that. I would absolutely listen to like, an audio podcast with Best playing both brothers, or watch a web series about it. More than that: I wish they’d

It’s worth it. It’s really fun to see how they interpret famous historical figures.

I was like, 11, when I accidentally caught an episode of Clone High at a friend’s house and was immediately hooked. It was so funny and so different. And while I was too young to really get the parody, there was just something about it that I really dug. I rewatched it a few years ago, and it holds up. That theme

Let’s face it. Beavis and Butthead would be millionaires these days and have millions of followers and get canceled every week.

I’m excited to see what Game Pass rolls out as we head into the tail-end of this generation. I skipped Fallout 76, but I think I’ll try it out. I’ve seen enough interesting *player-made* tidbits to make it at least worth a glance. I’m maybe more excited about CrossCode, though. I can’t get enough of “fake MMORPG”-type

So, they’d be the Paul brothers?

I remember liking the 2007 movie for what it was. This scene, especially.

Yeah, they’d greenlit and thencanceled a series based on Robbie and with the same actor recently. Think it was because it had greenlit for Hulu and Disney wanted all their shows on Disney+?

Speaking of...Could’ve had your first Latinx lead with Ghost Rider, Marvel, but nooooo, you had to cancel that. And movie-wise? You’d prefer to let Michael Peña serve as your comedic relief than get some superpowers. At least Yo-Yo exists, for now. You could have a ‘Afro-Latinx powerhouse in either of the White
