As a "repair person", unless some one tells me to back up files, I don't typically go beyond the desktop. I will see the cookies for adultfriendfinder.com and the like pop up for a brief second during a scan, but I've never seen any porn files on a computer I've fixed. I've got no reason to be digging through your

@MacAttack: Porn aside, don't use file vault, use an encrypted dmg for storing files. Better protection against corruption. I only use it on my flash drives because I lose the bastards constantly, but at the same time I don't want some random finding it opening it up and having access to my excel file with bank

@FriarNurgle: I built one for under $200. Puts out 1080p mkv like a champ and if I were to actually run windows on the thing I could even watch flash based web video.

@Tsylord: Buy a Bluetooth mouse?

@Mr.Pacman: HTC, Dell, Samsung, Motorola, LG, the carrier branded HTC phones, the google branded HTC phones, the fact that all of these companies now have Android and Win7phones in the future, then there is HPalm, RIM, and Apple.

@zdevex: With Ubuntu I always do a clean install. The applications I use are easy enough to install. I have a file that I open and it apt-gets everything I need/want when I do a clean install. The entire process takes under 30 minutes, and any media or documents is in my dropbox/SDHC card.

10.10 is fast (much better than 10.04) on my eee 900a with a first gen atom processor and 1 gb of RAM. The netbook remix however, kills my netbook. Which is a shame as I liked the launcher.

Enemy respawns still happen too quickly and I would prefer a little more reach and knock back like legend of Zelda

But what will the data plan cost? $25 for when you need it data kinda set the bar.

@BoscoH: These are media publications. They have the incentive to get their publications in as many hands as possible. In the tablet world, simply based on sales, that means the iPad.

@ddhboy: Everyone is waiting for Spotify, Apple and Google to make their moves in the US. I don't understand why the wait when Mog is a fairly awesome service to begin with. AND Spotify is the same price as Mog when you want to use it on your mobile.

@Everybody: And yet can't afford a keyboard with a working "P" key...

Am I an asshole for thinking "Man what an asshole"?

For $20 (at the time) I'm still happy with co pilot live. They give me map updates and I can submit errors right from the app.

I am liking the option to install third party codecs and drivers right during the install. It's a simple thing and the average person installing ubuntu (which makes you a not so average person) can figure it out, but why not just include the option out the gate for the nonlinux people to just make it a little easier?

Music neckbeards are awfully similar to Linux neckbeards.

150 tons at 50 mph? We can convert our current long haul truckers to blimp pilots and save on wear and tear on our highways. A two man team with supplies can travel with the blimp and cut down transport times by half if not more. No stops. Just get it to regional distribution centers.

@lostarchitect: You get a cleaner hole with less jagged edges.

@rymas1: But we all know it's not actually going to her stomach its simply providing...
