Let's say a Topkick Cab and Chassis is going to weigh in anywhere from 9,000 to 15,000 pounds approximately. A fully loaded semi without special permits is allowed to weigh in at 80,000 lbs.

Holly Balls! Alright, well responded. But to be fair, that isn't a fully loaded semi. That is an empty cab and chassis.
Physics disagrees with this method. Even if you bury these steel reinforced posts 20 ft down, a full loaded trailer will laugh at them. Yes, the trailer will take damage, but the cost to replace the post wont be fun in the lease. I defer to the Normandy beach Yard Art as a better idea.
And of course the fact that the highway seems to float over the water makes it that much more surreal.
If the Rockies welcome you with some snow, just get into the tunnels.
Thanks Rutledge. I really appreciate the answer. I'll keep badgering the people I know at NASCAR and maybe I'll get to talk with the guys in the booth eventually.
Alright, I've got a question for Rutledge, How did you get started as a pit lane reporter in NASCAR? Also, on a related note, what's Mike Joy like?
And you need to give it to me in less than four sentences.
Travis, everytime I hear a complaint about driving manners of Americans, I just remember the late great George Carlin.
Thanks very much for the response!
What was it like to hit 300 miles per hour for your first time?
My brain wouldn't let my finger push the play button on that video.
I had Scott McClellan speak at my college's graduation, she can't possibly be worse than he was.
Contrary to what you might believe, the American consumer has gotten smarter, and the smarter consumer doesn't want a sedan.
This entire article has taught me three things:
Fair enough. I'd forgotten that. But still, I'm thinking he needs better aides. Maybe. He did avoid getting hit by a train after all.
Earlier this month a judge declined to order GM to tell their customers to stop driving their cars. Since a court order didn't work, it seems critics are trying to get the feds to do it instead.
$10,000 per job to the tune of $40 million. It's clear Texas was serious about getting Toyota, and it's probably going to end up as a major economic victory for the state. Texas' lack of corporate and income taxes are good news for the automaker as well.
It isn't just their F1 effort. Toyota is easily the worst racing team all together. For all the money they've dumped into F1, NASCAR, and now Le Mans, they have exactly... wait for it... ZERO championships.
