I am 32. I consider myself a strong ass woman. Not a victim. NEVER a victim. But what is shocking, and humbling about this entire election is the fact that other women are speaking out about things that I have just accepted in my life as part of being a woman, and that I’ve forgotten about until now. I truly forgot

I can’t remember where I read it, but supposedly both Trump and Jared Kushner were made aware of the “grab them by the pussy” tape a day or two before it was released. They shrugged it off, because they didn’t think it would be a big deal.

I honestly think he never gave a second thought to any of this before now, because he never considered that there was a possibility that these women might not have liked it before now.

As corroboration, I would like to point out just how *small* those hand prints are. Wonderful.

Donald Trump was accused by the Justice Department in the 1970's of refusing to rent apartments in his developments to black people.

The single engine that drives his psychology is a desire for dominance. It is about dominance and power. It is being able to walk into a room and take over.

Nate Silver, ftw.

He’s unhinged. I just don’t understand what could possibly have made him so, so angry in the past few years. Even Rachel Maddow was questioning whether Giuliani seemed “off” in this election cycle.

I had an idiot male acquaintance tell me recently that you can’t expect a man to act mature until “at least 44. It’s science.” Um... No? I told him that I didn’t ever expect him to act mature, nor did I feel his age was the issue.

I am not a dude, but I do have to wear suits on the regular. My size and shape can be best described as “chunky and top-heavy.” I have a relatively straight torso with a high waist and narrow hips. I have learned to buy suit separates exclusively, because my jackets need to be at least 1 size larger than the bottoms.

This is one of those Picture Worth a Thousand Word moments:

I’m sorry, I’m going to go off on this a little bit. It’s bugged me for a long time.

You’re assuming he hasn’t already been doing that.

Burner phone you say?

Well, as one of the 4 daughters of a man who retained his sexist attitudes after I was born, colour me not shocked. Becoming fathers doesn’t cure men of sexist attitudes.

ugh, my husband’s uncle somehow always comes in for the smooch when I’m seated and am far less able to maneuver away from him...

Creepy married neighbor who wanted to hold my hand/waist as we walked down the street.

“Our culture is filled with bars and strip clubs on every corner.”

I have found a reply (stole it from Miss Manners, actually) that works stunningly well on the majority of these people:
