The other day my hubs was playing competitive with a real jackass who kept screaming into the void using all kinds of the worst profanity because they were losing. Hubs got so fed up with it he just stopped and started dancing and emoting in front of him to ensure he would lose the match, as revenge.

That may be true, but it’s also unfair to put that only on Widow or Hanzo and ignore the people who are bad at any other role. I’ve definitely played games where the Hanzo is carrying the team and I’ve had to switch off of tank because our healer just stinks — what’s the point of being Reinhardt if Mercy’s just…

99% of my play, unless my bro is on, is solo queue. It’s so hit or miss and no one uses their mic. And because I have a woman’s voice, about 50% of the time if someone else is in mic, it gets all creepy.

That’s a great idea. Usually I wait to see what other people pick before I jump in, because I’m happy to fill in blank spots. But the next time everyone’s jumping in with a bunch of squishy DPS picks I’ll just pick Widowmaker and practice my aim, because my aim is terrible.

I definitely see this all the time in solo queue. I’m not exactly great at the game, but I try to read the situation to see what’s really needed to pick off someone who’s really giving us a hard time. I’ve also taken great advantage of someone on the enemy team who stubbornly just will not switch off of some character…

I’m no pro player or anything but going off of Jeff Kaplan’s comments, I agree that she’s too essential right now and that makes the game stale. She can fly in and is really mobile, she can solo kill her counters with such high armor, she has her infinite bullet eating shield, her shotguns are pretty powerful and also…

I like to pick him and other less great characters in arcade mode matches, just to play around. He’s a lot of fun.

It may not be that it’s supposed to be a casual game, but it IS supposed to be a friendly and balanced game. The game gets stale if there are characters who are hard to use at all because they’re under-powered, and others who are almost necessary to win, like D.Va. Blizzard is right in that she does too much right now.

I agree, although if she was posting a picture of herself clad in white with a fresh new cross on and saying “And with your spirit” people would probably also speculate whether she converted to Catholicism too. Outward expressions of faith in secular circles, like most celebrities, is intriguing in general.
