Oh heavens, The Swan. I watched one episode of that when I was a teenager, and even teenager-me, who was more concerned with her appearance and what kind of clothing she wore, was totally disgusted by that show.

Yikes. My guess is the only way to really convince the public that she had no idea she was performing for a dictator is to donate the performance fees to some kind of charity supporting human rights.

Yes, I wonder if the author's complaint has more to do with the neighbors than the houses. "Curtain-twitching killjoys" arguably some of his strongest and most emotional language in the excerpts, doesn't really have much to do with architecture.

Sex loves to waste time, remember.

Now roll a D-20 to determine stamina left. If stamina points remaining are above ten, press 1 to hear climax. If below ten, press 2 to hear "why don't we just try again later?"

Ugh, these houses are like, destroying my sex life! Confining me to the bedroom behind closed doors. I certainly can't have sex anywhere else, like the couch or kitchen or in front of the fireplace like other normal people, because the house forbids it. Damn you, house, and your walls! Also, I have a limited

Is he Jewish? I don't even know.

I think belly button rings look silly on anyone, so...

Since my confirmation, I no longer bother watching Comedy Central. People are always laughing at their news show, and I don't understand why. Is the news funny? Can someone explain to me?

THANK YOU! I'm not an atheist, but have an open mind and don't judge/care what other people are. I've always thought that Dawkins was a bad advocate for his cause.

Yikes. A lot of Christianity snark going on. It's all GTFO, IRRATIONAL DWEEBS, up in here.

I remember watching a documentary, I don't recall the name, where a woman suffered from constant spontaneous orgasm, she would have like 30 a day. I don't remember the reason why it occurred, but they eventually found a way to stop it. She missed it I guess and ended up going off of the treatment, I think she ended up

Ugh, I know, right?

I think it's more that those type of children are so much more visible. They scream and cry and draw your attention, so it seems like they are everywhere. But for every one of the badly behaved children there are many more who normally just do their thing, behave and stay pretty quiet and not that noticeable.

No, perhaps I have not expressed myself well. I rarely do, I'm sorry to say. What I meant to say was that I think it is a good technology for people who want to make sure they do not pass on genetic diseases to children, especially very serious ones. That seems like a legitimate use of the technology. I do hope,

I don't know, if it were a man and he was wearing practical, eye-catching, stylin' sneaks to do it, I like to think we would still notice.

Aw that's nice! I think it should be noted, too, that none of the other Sesame Street characters have any kind of romantic relationship — implied or otherwise — that I know of. Except for maybe the Cookie Monster + cookies. Why should Bert and Ernie be any different?

I agree, I think it would have been more touching to depict an actual reaction of real people to DOMA, instead of using puppets who have no sexual orientation (or sexual organs). I also agree that just because two men live together we shouldn't all go whispering around that they must be gay, tee hee hee. As a child I

I... hm. I'm not sure how to feel about this. It's good in that it could help people with incurable genetic diseases who want to have biological children, but without strict regulation I can see where this can go off the rails into an ethical nightmare. It can bring up ethical problems that could further stigmatize
