She knows policy, she can connect personally, and she is able to position herself as a “competent outsider”. One big advantage she has is the ability to say Trump was right about some things (like abandoning American workers) but that Trump doesn’t walk the walk on populism.

Sadly, we had a candidate who—well, whatever.

I haven’t seen her live, only on TV.  But what I really like about her is that she is able to make politics and policy personal.  Especially when she talks about her own story.  I think that style has a strong appeal to voters.

What they find “off putting” is her breath and depth of knowledge that make men feel inadequate in her presence. I so fucking sick of it. She’s doing better than Bernie and has a deeper knowledge of policy than Bernie. Which means the DNC and the media and BIG POLL is conspiring with her to destroy Bernie.

I wandered into a pro-Bernie thread on twitter yesterday, and the vitriol and laser focus on Warren was weird. Person after person attacking her. I don’t get it. 

FFS, even Fox News has debunked the claim that claiming NA heritage helped her get into school/advance her career.

Shut up. If her worst mistake ever (and find another one, please) is believing family lore and doing the DNA thing, she is way ahead of the rest of the pack. Also what TF is wrong with climbing the academic ladder on EFFing merit. Read her damn biography. For crying out loud.

The only descriptors I’ve seen attributed to Warren’s style in any piece is “wonkiness” and praises for her “personal touch” on the campaign trail.

I’m sure nobodies trying to take shots at her for personal calls to small donors, or waiting hours after campaign stops just so all her supporters can take selfies with…

I just attended her townhall in Seattle and I have to say, she had charisma in spades. I really hope she’s our next president.

“Imagine the debate between Warren and Trump” You do realize that she is extremely intelligent?  Pretty sure she’d mop the floor with him.  She’s dealt with bullies before.

Similarly “Biden is the most electable” is never accompanied by citations. Both of these constructs/talking points are the creation of Republican “never-Trumpers” who want the Democrat to win, just as long as the Democrat is as centrist as possible.

Competent women are offputting.
