But then there’s a glowing profile (or whatever you call a profile that doesn’t actually interview the subject) of Leonardo DiCaprio out now that mentions in passing that he had a “no eye contact” rule on the set of the new Tarantino movie he’s in, and presents it as a fun quirk, rather than shitty diva behavior. So,

Yeah but maybe don’t let your animal shit somewhere you don’t consider your home

I do not disagree with you - it is not excusable to treat people poorly. Men who do that in Hollywood do get negative press as well, but it seems to affect their careers a lot less. I mean, we still let Mel Gibson make and distribute movies.

It really comes down to how a person treats others on set, at least to me. Be direct and fight for what you feel you deserve and want out of your career, just don’t treat people like shit in the process.

What infuriates me is the holier than thou tone when the author is obviously just sharing gossip. “This is unfair racist gossip that I’m gleefully sharing and getting click revenue from.” Note the headline isn’t “The Coverage of Constance Wu is Racist,” it’s repeating the diva allegations themselves. At least the rest

Yeah it’s not like she personally tweeted about being upset that her successful sitcom got renewed or anything......

Totally agree. She needs to knock that shit off or she will be Katherine Heigled!

I just saw a preview for this in the theater and I had no idea then what the point of the movie was. After reading this I’m 100% sure there is no real story, only a means for Quentin Tarantino to use some naughty words, parade women around like trophies, and let all the men do all the work and talking. HARD PASS.

Yes! Don't put spice in the pot and not stir it up. Fucking spill the goods!

Exactly! I eat this stuff up!

As the entertainment press, we field emails from executives and publicists daily. Everyone wants top billing and a slightly larger spotlight. There are even stars this year alone with higher demands than anything detailed by the disgruntled Page Six sources.

I loove Kill Bill (vol 1) but I think it’s a lot about what the actors brought to those rolls. He has a unique narrative style that stands out, and they paired well with it. The Bride & O Ren Ishi were such a good pairing. I didn’t mind the violence as much in THAT movie because it’s just campy, like blood gushing

This was delightfully vicious and I am HERE FOR IT.

“Joe Biden is worried that Kamala Harris is scooping up the black vote leading up to the 2020 Democratic primaries.”

Who’s to say she hasn’t studied the form or her craft or whatever pretentious way you can put it? Studying something doesn’t mean you’ve got an exhaustive and complete knowledge of it. Hell, I’ve been teaching literature for more than a decade now and I’ll freely admit that there’s canonical stuff I haven’t read. Lots

He’s 15 years older than her. As she said, he’s had more time to see these movies.
