Rumor has it that Melania has been having an affair for years with somebody who has a prominent job at Tiffany’s, which makes this gift so much better.

Yeah it’s absolutely ludicrous. If every single coal mining job went away instantly the unemployment figure wouldn’t move a tenth of a percent.

Wait, there are so few of them? I thought there had to be at least ten times that. Which if you add up spouses and children and related industry could involve a few million people directly and indirectly. The idea of reviving this industry is even dumber than I imagined.

The hell of it is there are only about 50,000 coal miners in the entire country, but we’re basing all of our policies around catering to a group that has fewer employees than ToysRUs.

There’s like 50,000 coal miners in the US. Pandering to them is like pandering to albinos. Which would make more sense since you’re 4 times more likely to be albino than you are to be a coal miner.

This is a man that seriously thought Hillary Clinton “acid washed” her emails like they were my boyfriend’s denim jacket from 1988.
