I picked up a YA novel that was supposed to be about a girl being held in a faery court (don’t judge; I’m going through a fey phase; burned out on the usual vampires and shifters; faeries scare me a lot more), and it turns out to be a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. Come the fuck on, people.

Whenever I see that Escalade ad, I start thinking about how a lot of those people depicted ended up dead at the hands of hungry rebels.
