ME/Coroner elective positions go back to before autopsies were a regular part of the job. It was a position awarded to a crony, who made sure bodies got picked up, disposed of, and death certificates were issued.
At least this time he was suspended without pay. Alabama is probably sick of the money this jerk has cost them defending his BS.
A lot of us feminists have kids, and we like seeing other people’s adorable kids.
The exact reason I’m most likely to quit a show or a book.
IMO, the difference with the Irish is the Irish will bring it up on the regular, so that no one EVER forgets exactly what happened and who said what and who’s in the wrong, and probably devolve into the occasional drunken fistfight, while the story grows exponentially larger.
Doctors are human. They’re fallible. I was given a diagnosis 25 years ago that I just found out was wrong, and that’s why I’m dealing with all the chemo now.
The thing with Donovan is he gets to the bottom of it, then buries it in the desert.
I’m part Irish. You got nothin’ on us.
Doctors don’t know everything. That’s why people get second opinions.

I’m undergoing chemotherapy right now for an autoimmune disorder. I look healthy, but my immune system is compromised. The first two months resulted in a less than 30% improvement. I love fall. I hate pumpkin spice lattes, but I could live on pumpkin pie. I hate itchy wool sweaters, but I sweaters in other fibers. I hate sweating, so BYE SUMMER!
I’m enjoying The Good Place, and Superstore and You’re the Worst are back on, so I’m watching way more sitcoms this year.
I used to be a redhead, and I’m slowly going gray. I’m tired of dying it back to the red I was born with and want something different. I figure that if I get called on it, I’ll just dye it red again.
Nancy Drew had multiple writers over the years. I read all of them I could find as a teenager and there were some interesting inconsistencies as well as different writing styles across the series.
I got food poisoning last week. It started in the early afternoon, while I as at work. Most of it was running to the ladies’ room every 15 minutes, but I did vomit a few times. Every single time I vomited, someone walked in on me (I was in an empty office lying down) to see how I was doing. Yep, perfect timing.
