Caputo could have said anything when he went off script. He could have flat out explained what was happening with MCC, and said that Bailey was undertrained, etc. The reality is, he justified it, gave Poussey no humanity, and created the space for MCC to carry on.

Caputo, in his own words, said he would have done the same thing as Bailey. I think MCC is now free to run with "Poussey was dangerous" as the narrative. Not that that was what Caputo intended to do, but I think that's how it will play out (especially with that riot going on).

Caputo gave new life to the "Bailey was just defending himself against a dangerous inmate" narrative. I totally understand the bigger picture, but Caputo didn't get any of the across in with what he actually said. He even said that he would have done the same thing. Now CCW can go ahead and pretend Poussey was

I don't understand the "this was not a strong season for Poussey" mindset? I thought she was fantastic this season. She spent Season 2 getting betrayed by her friends and Season 3 drunk & lovelorn. Wasn't it great to see her happy? I surely enjoyed it. Samira Wiley and Kimiko Glenn had great chemistry, and it was a

I assumed it was because Cox had little-to-no availability, but they still want her on the show.

But if you have Piscatella or Humphrey kill Poussey isn't that too easy of a solution? A clearly racist violent asshole kills a woman—he gets fired. By having it be Bailey, Caputo feels (wrongly) squeamish about putting the blame on him and the system protects itself; hurting the rest of the inmates who watched one of

Isn't the fact that Caputo betrays the inmates and protects Bayley what makes this true to life? That the system will always protect itself. I feel like this season established that Caputo is all talk, and won't stick his neck out for anyone. Yeah, he helped Sophia, but in the most cowardly way possible.

Suzanne's a victim too. She's coming off being forced into a fight with Maureen because Humphrey is a monster.

Master of None! Kimmy Schmidt! Judith Light! both Blumquists!

But the whole point is that if guards like O'Neill or Bell were still there then that situation never would have escalated so far, and Poussey would be alive. Bayley is absurdly undertrained, and the flashbacks painted him as an idiot who goes against his best-judgement in favor of groupthink.

Miles, I think the whole deal with Ruiz is she's following in her father's footsteps. In her flashback we saw he ran the Dominican crew in her neighborhood. She's claiming her birthright, in a sense, by taking charge.

Jenna Maroney did it twice, and it was hilarious!

Mullaney wants to open carry a musket. What's so hard to understand about that

when were they on Broad City

So by that logic Candace is the only Cameron worth a damn. I don't see a Growing Pains reboot. Has Kird done anything for Tracy Gold?

They did whip-its on Saved by the Bell????

When John Mulaney showed up I almost died laughing

Those are 3 fantastic shows that had amazing endings!

There's going to be a Comeback S3?

If you watch Broad City you've seen him. He runs Deals, Deals, Deals!
