Heavily disagree with you on modes and culling characters, making less options just for the sake of competitive fans and that scene is a bad move, I didn’t like Tekken doing that and I’m certainly against the same happening here. More fun, well made modes is always welcome and gives people greater options, not

Also I’ve noticed this also happens in 1v1 as well though not as often.

Surprised their is no way to change your account to private or friends only or something like that to avoid situations like that. Seems like that it would be a minor feature Blizzard could add to cause less toxicity.

I always assumed that Pikachu was based on the Pika, a small lagomorphs (the same family Rabbits and Hares are from), weird to find out that I was so wrong.

Make it sad for me then some fans have decided to treat the one autistic character as their go to joke one, like classy there, like we don’t get that enough in real life.

Symmetra is my main, I just got her golden gun. She’s the only character I know of in gaming where I can play as a bad arse autistic woman who can snark, kick arse and be as useful as everyone else, something I wish I could be in real life.

It also ignores that EA has a LOOOONNNGGGG history of making screwy decisions, the EA hate didn’t come of nowhere no matter what people and game sites think.

I also find it weird to complain about something that was also part of the original film/novel Battle Royale which also made sure it was RNG based.

Also it’s interesting to see this after the rumors of Call of Duty 2 Remaster being campaign only. If both are true then I can’t see that being coincidence.

Unless there is something I’ve missed, Scott Benson statement really comes across as a bit of a jackarse there... Like really, that’s considered a professional statement.

I hate to say it but your right, they couldn’t even be bothered to moderate their own forums for over a year and only started doing a token effort after it became so big of an issue it started to hurt their playerbase aka money. I received pages worth of abuse and not once did a mod do anything.

Because as we all know, automated systems with no human oversight always work, just look at Valve, Tumblr, YouTube etc, no problems there and no indication that this can go very badly very fast /s

It more reveals how the games design was changed in order to fit the lootboxes in, we saw this when the lootboxes were removed from Battlefront 2. Something they said they didn’t do if you recall.

That’s a bit a crappy thing to say, not everyone can afford to buy those new games at launch because of the sheer amount of DLC and microtranactions, the deluxe and gold editions etc or just don’t have $60/£50 to spare. Whether this be other non-gaming commitments like our jobs, family or just saving up for something

For me, I wish they had some sort of ranking system so that new players aren’t just instantly killed by people with tons of gear and equipment and have the maps memorized as well as making an effort to deal with toxicity, both pre and after launch.

Sadly, people find away, I’ve had death threats sent to me via PSN after playing Overwatch matches (nearly all players I thought in 1v1) before I found out I could make it impossible for people other than my friends to message me.

Really? If a single post of criticism isn’t allowed?

Being critical or not liking an aspect of a work doesn’t mean you hate it.

“its a children’s show” is a really bad excuse to dismiss criticism, especially when other children’s works have covered deeper and more mature themes than Dragon Ball Super and succeed in strides, Beast Wars, Batman the Animated Series, Steven Universe, Reboot, Adventure Time, X-Men Evolution, The Animals of Farthing

Really? Disliking an arc/aspect of a work or being critical of something means you MUST “Hate” it? Yeah no, it doesn’t and declaring people haters like this just makes you look like the awful gatekeeping fan.
