You might want to update that all the DLC characters so far, if you have the base game you still have to pay for them. You only get them free in the new Disc.

I’m okay with the designs overall but you’re right, it shouldn’t have taken 2 years for this game to reach what I’d say would be acceptable as a base package.
Difference is that T7 did charge £49 for the privilege to buy it.
Good review, going to pass on it because of the loot boxes, your statement of “It was a time-saver that saved me a few seconds if my orc ranks were depleted and I didn’t feel like recruiting new ones in the world” really does make it sound that they’ve made that it’s easier using loot boxes rather then actually…
Would Bandai Namco allow that though?
I wasn’t born when the original MM games were out and was too young to get into most of the series. However playing a few of them via the Wii and those Collections.
Just wanted to say I really like you’re articles here Maddy and when you used to do stuff over at TheMarySue. You’re one of the most informative authors on compete and you’re writing style is very insightful (:
I think when it comes to Capcom, part of it comes to the fact that it’s built up years of resentment with the On-Disk DLC mess of SFxT, the decades of non-upgradable update, a lot of the problems with SFV like releasing it unfinished for it to be ready for Evo and the ludicrous amount of DLC for it.
It seems like it may have happened. Skrulls seem to be coming to the MCU which were one of the properties Fox had.
I’m guessing people want a story mode that’s actually well made and good like other fighting games?
Yes, it’s why Blazblue is so great for me and how I do enjoy reading lore. Plus Neatherrealm does it right.
Wow, you really think just because something is newer means it’s better (or that everyone else shouldn’t enjoy them either)... That’s... Wow.
I’m sorry but with the Hellblade one, that I felt went too far. If they had just kept the mentioning in in-game I probably would be fine with it, but marketing it with such is to me just being deceitful.
Yes how dare people not buy a game with a mechanic they don’t like, after all you liked it therefore EVERYONE must like it.
You must hate reviewers, critics or about half the game industry (or hell, the entertainment industry in general) as a lot of it is based off the back of other and then either improving, altering or adding to it to make it there own.
Wow, the “get a real job” mentality, still can’t believe this exist nowadays, you do realize you’re coming across like the old curmudgeon in a Charles Dickens work?
The kill stealing seems like something that could be fix. Maybe instead use what they use in the team based area and every gain points based on the presentage of health you took off? Maybe a 10-20% bonus for the one who got the kill to be fair?
Please don’t insult people who don’t like this game as “Incapable of judging a game as an experiance”. People like different and you’re are not a better person or have the right to look down at people just because they don’t like something you do (and vise versa).
And by the most of it’s fanbase will have moved on the sheer price for all the DLC will make near impossible for newcomers to get a full experience. It shouldn’t five years to out do your previous game and honestly, I’d rather rather go back to the expansion, at least the cost of upgrading from Super to Ultra or say…
