I liked this better than Show Me a Hero (though I also really enjoyed SMaH) on most counts. I enjoyed the slow build and eventual intertwining/escalation of the stories. While I agree the first season of The Wire is overall a better first season, this had the same feel for me by the time it hit the last few episodes.…

This was easily my least favorite season.

Stopping by from the future (just got caught up on this season) to say that I agree on all counts. Season 2 is my favorite, this one was my least favorite by far.

Counter example: I got my card promptly (in about two weeks) and had absolutely no problem using the app or buying my ticket. I also still get to use my Regal Rewards card and build up points for free tickets.

Watching this show made me feel like the 5 people who watched the first season of The Wire as it aired must have felt.

Just popping in to say that was my initial plan, but I just couldn’t hold out. Started it last night and I’m absolutely loving it.

I’m just now catching up with the show, but this was a great first episode, and I’m all for Wire reviews.

This review doesn’t mention Leon enough. Larry & Leon is one of my favorite comedic pairings.
