Man, can you imagine the sweet fixie he’ll be able to buy with that money?

Soooo, not to be that guy but... you had the Union flag backwards/upside down for most of that video. Prepare for more hate.

I believe they’re what you guys refer to as “Some of the ‘good’ ones” amirite?

This is your brain on drugs kids.

Yet you didn’t stop caring quick enough to post a response.

IIRC Salisburys are and were built under license so it’s entirely possible.

I was speaking more strength wise. The Dana 44's are similar in strength to the Disco axle, Salisbury axles are Dana 60's and you find those on heavier duty vehicles and modified Jeeps in the US.

Dana 44's for the most part, closer to Disco Axles than Salisbury.

Yes.

My biggest knock on the Wrangler (apart from the lack of payload) is that they have semi floating axles instead of full floating, you twist a side shaft and your wheel is coming off as well.

Pretty much and I’ll know it’s done right.

It’s been my biggest internal debate for the last two years, do I just do a frame up or rolling restore? I figure with this one it will be a nice compromise. The guy has a new crank and rebuilt heads for the engine and the chassis looks to be in decent condition with a bit of surface rust on the bulkhead so I won’t

Well, I might have a little past experience with NADM Landies...

Judging by the reflectors on the side, it’s a North American Domestic Market Series that were sold in the US so it’s pretty rare.

In all honesty I’d seriously consider it if I were not about to call a guy about a 5 door LHD 109 IIa that he has sitting in pieces in his garage. It’s the 2.25 N/A 3 main bearing diesel, at least I’m assuming it’s the 3 main bearing because it’s a ‘62.

If only it had 5 doors...

Other than the fancy badge, V8 and roll cage. They’re literally the same thing though. If anything the V8 is inferior to the 300 Tdi.

That thing is the lap of luxury compared to one of these, you damn kids and your coil suspension...

It’s easier to piss and moan about car companies not producing enthusiast cars then actually buying the ones that are offered. Car companies (at least ones that want to survive) aren’t going to build cars that nobody buys but everyone wants to (no seriously guyz I’d totally buy one if my dad gave me the money!11!!!)
