The year was 2003, I was driving my 1990 Jetta Tdi Ecodiesel home from college when the timing belt snapped and my pistons got way too cuddly with my valves. So I search online and find myself a referb cylinder head not to far from home, bring it home and spend Saturday replacing the head. Got everything buttoned up

Neutral: Do Chinese-Built Cars Concern You?

Hasn’t been done, Defender bulkhead hasn’t been changed dimension wise so it doesn’t need to be retested by the ETSC. According to the UK Department of transportation (based on accident data collected) you have a 1% chance of being killed or seriously injured in an accident while driving a Defender. I’d say a

Oh bless your heart, no it’s the same dashboard used in the LR4.

From everything I’ve heard on the grapevine the Defender is going to be priced below the Disco line with the Disco line being the mid line for Land Rover. Although I’ll tell you this, if they do price it at $60000 I’ll find that Ponce MacGovern and do very unpleasant things to his eye socket with parts of my

The 2015 Land Rover Defender isn’t any less modern than the 2015 Jeep Wrangler (sans the airbag). It has Disk brakes all around and Land Rovers current brake assisted differential locking system as well as a modern engine plus all the other modern features you’d expect to find in a 4x4 on the market today.

I couldn’t disagree more, had Land Rover invested money in modernizing the production line and actually made a serious attempt in the US they could easily be selling 50,000 units a year.

Aluminium bodies tend to hold up pretty well in the rust belt though.

The Defender and G-Class are marketed to two completely different segments of the market. They’re quite literally on opposite ends of the spectrum.

That’s because Gerry McGovern is a ponce, and wants to make vehicles for other ponces.

No such thing as a worn out Land Rover, only a Land Rover that needs a slight refresh.

I’ll be happy if it’s a body on frame solid axle vehicle, but I doubt I’m going to be happy. The silence on this whole thing makes me fear the worse.

I’d say around 1970 when Lords wanted something new to tour their lands with and a Series Land Rover wasn’t cutting it.

I presume this is so other Land Rover owners don’t break in under the cover of darkness in order to steal parts they need.

You motorboatin son of a bitch! You old sailor you!
