If you going truetracs you might as well wait a little longer and save up for the ARB's, much better investment.

No doubt, a locker will always be better than TC but TC will get you though most crap. It will just chew up the brakes quicker.

Somebody has to help fix Jeeps when they shatter those wafer thin axles.

Land Rover Discovery 3/4 HSE trim come with a rear lockerlocker and traction control. Disco 2's have a traction control that simulates locking diff's. I tend not to use hill decent and just go down hills in 1st gear low range.

Coolant and a couple of quarts of brake fluid just to be safe. Also a mechanics tool set with extra wrentches for the bigger nuts and bolts so you should will be able to handle field repairs.

Christ, Gerry McGovern is such a pretentious cock. Sigh...

I was just thinking the same thing after re-reading his post on the 215 nailhead. I miss the engine of the day posts.

The rust is probably from the door frame, the only other thing on the body that's not aluminum is the bulk head.

I'm going with NP. Galvanized chassis means that your great grand kids will be able to inherit this truck.
