ND. Not because this is a bad car or anything, but because the Bolt costs a few grand more and can be had brand new with more capability. If you’re on the used market, a used Leaf will have similarly weak range vs the newest EVs, but is way cheaper. I don’t see a reason to spend $20k on this car.

I was worried that this would not be appreciated, but I’m glad to see that a true Jalopnik (brown station wagon, but not just a wagon, a freakin’ shooting brake!, just needs a diesel swap) is being appreciated.

“...these cars have a very narrow audience.”

No he did not hold his own. Stop giving this uneducated, ignorant boot licker the benefit of the doubt. So he didn’t fall over on the way to the stage, good for him. The only thing this moron did was create memes that will live on forever and force SNL to rewrite the cold open.

Another day, another nail in the coffin of this fucked up country.

I feel like we are sleepwalking into finding a way to make nuclear war acceptable, because we’ve forgotten how horrifying it would be. It is a terrifying prospect.

If nuclear weapons are being used, the last thing I will worry about is flight delays.  Unless I happened to have a flight booked for New Zealand.

What do you mean? It is hyper cool to me, and if I took it to a show it would have swarms of people around it. The Mustang crowd wouldn’t get it, but lots of people would. It’s a ticket to Radwood but also to most Cars & Coffees, and it would also be a useful vehicle for the occasional camping trip or whatnot.

the impreza is LOW.  I can see the extra ride hight being worth it for most people even if they never go “off road” not having to slow down on bumps and such is amazing for day to day driving depending on the quality of the roads where you live.

I appreciate it is one of the few AWD vehicles still available with a manual!

The truth is that 152 horsepower is perfectly fine for a car that weighs a little under 3,200 pounds.”

Former BMW tech here. No dice at any price.

This car has all the hallmarks of being owned by a person who cared about taking care of the wrong things on a car. When that car is a Toyota Camry, we can talk. When that car is a 100k mile, 4.4l v8, twin-turbo, BMW it’s a hard, hard pass.

As soon as a seller adds “Mercedes, Audi, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Chevy corvette, Audi R8, sport car, Dodge Challenger, viper” to the listing I’m out. Maybe everyone does it, but I’m not playing.

Smokescreen. Chaff. Gatling gun.

Jimmy John’s is the worst sub I ever had.  Would never go back.

I could go to the gas station and buy sub ingredients or find something close. Then let it sit in my car for a week. After that I can assemble a sub and it would be better than subway.

Seller says it has no leaks, then later says the RMS is leaking and needs to be replaced. Between the miles and the mods $23,000 is just a down payment. No dice.

I’m just grateful that someone on her Secret Service detail wanted to protect her.
