People should be kicked out of the courtroom and out of all other public places, and actually anyplace that is not less than 10 metres from a body of water, for wearing flip-flops.
It makes me sad to say this but I'm very suspicious of men who are attracted to professions where there are an abundance of women both as peers and in subordinate positions. Obviously fashion photographer is one such job, but so is art history or philosophy professor. Lots of predators in ARH and PHI.
The use of all caps has diminished somewhat in the past weeks so I'll grant you that, Jezebel. But the abuse of language continues, particularly in the gee-whiz voice of every article, and down to vocabulary.
I'm sorry about your cat. That's terrible.
I was in your spot last year this time. If it makes you feel any better, a lot of the "absolutely no" decisions are sent out by the public ivies and a lot of state schools the third week of January through now. It's painful but the longer you don't hear the better it is; you've advanced to another level. Good luck and…
I filed a discrimination complaint against [a specific individual] at the college I attended and worked for. The school has completely mishandled the investigation, first assigning a "caseworker" who by his/her own admission did not/could not read the documents provided by both sides, and then hiring and outside law…

He gives me the creeps, large or small, lots of hair or little. There's just something douchebro-y about him.
Not Fulbright (congratulations on getting even to the starting line and through all the application process) but on other academic funding. The wait is actually physically killing me. I've been through this before too and don't know why it still bothers me so much. I love the weekend but right now can't wait 'til it's…
Hi. I'm wondering what experiences people have had with workplace/school mobbing. There's a distinction (at least there is in the EU) between mobbing and bullying, but I don't read/hear much about mobbing even in the feminist/progressive media.
