no they are marketing the 86 as a new “corolla gts” as that was the last cheap rwd hold-out in the toyota’s lineup with the celica going front wheel/awd in 1985 (the corolla lasted through 1987) and probably has better recognition too as the celica was mostly remembered in the wrc days
