maybe toyota could resto-mod their older vehicles with atleast better passive equipment like they did with the Single cab 70 series

i’d wager the tsurus would be a little bit worse if not the same as these vehicles were one of the first to be crash tested with offset and the results even with newer 98 year model cars are not great.

If it were like the hiace clone shuttle bus i ridden once in every while i’d say that they seem to age quicker than their original counterparts.

I think the use of CFRP in the e46 was made possible due to the roof skin not being a structural part unlke in the earlier e36 and the honda fit here;

maybe it has met one way or another our toyota diesel that thing seem to run smoother after taking it past 3000rpm and seems to hate anything below 2000 rpm basing on that it basically reluctant to move below that point and that everything that have gone wrong in the engine bay shows its symptoms at that point

I think the issue is that the autonomous vehicle must have atleast the same level of redundancy as that of a human operated vehicle where the driver plays a role similar to that of the central computer and redundancy is provided by standby units either by the one sitting in the passenger seat or another computer.
