Dang! I was really looking forward to the commercial he would have made for it.

The Waitress probably comes in second, as they've pretty much broken her down and dragged her back into alcoholism and drug abuse, and they can't even be bothered to remember what her name is!

For some reason, I remembered that as a Family Guy gag…

I've mentioned it maybe one other time before in reference to Phil Hartman. It's one of those movies that I'll never seek out on my own, but if I see it on HBO at two in the morning, I'll almost always tune in.

That's what the Andromeda Strain taught me. Thanks Michael Crichton!

I don't remember the third one outside of a gunfight at a hockey game and something about "cop killing bullets". But I do remember that the fourth one was especially dismal.

Not since '98. They basically only exist now as some strange brand that gets shoved on shitty DTV comedies.

Yea, but they also single-handedly ended Apartheid in that film. Atleast that's what I assume. Like when Rocky ended the Cold War.

No, they're the ones that had the gratuitous scenes of Danny Devito, in redface, banging whores. And they're goddamn masterpieces.

At the very least, Skyfall is miles above Quantum of Solace.

Regular price, I assume. since it was that much the entire summer I saw it. Granted, it was at the discount beer place, but a Google search confirms that it was pretty much that price everywhere else.

The great thing about them was you could usually get a four-pack of 16 oz cans for $2.99. I drank quite a few of them that summer…

I have a soft spot for Due Date. It tries so hard to be Planes, Trains and Automobiles, but Robert Downey Jr. manages to make it somewhat entertaining. Like the scene where he gets the shit kicked out of him after antagonizing a wheelchair-bound Danny McBride.

Many years ago, I would have said Christopher Walken. I mean the man made A View to a Kill at least somewhat watchable. Much like Christopher Lee did for The Man with the Golden Gun.

The Hard Way! As far as buddy cop action-comedies go, It has some good performances from James Woods and Michael J. Fox, as well as Stephen Lang as the scene-chewing bad guy.

Midnight Run plays on HBO or Starz atleast once a week right now, and I'll always switch over to watch it.

The scene between Tim Curry and Delroy Lindo in Congo was almost worth the price of admission.

Oh yeah. Whenever I see The River Wild on, I usually have to watch it because I enjoy watching David Strathairn play the action hero in the last third of it.

I saw Greedy when it came out on VHS, mostly because of Michael J. Fox, and it's far from crap! Sure, it might not be the greatest film, but it is pretty funny. Aside from Fox and Hartman, it also has Kirk Douglas, Ed Begley Jr., Bob Balaban and Jere Burns. But Phil Hartman does steal every scene in it.

I thought blacking out at my grandfather's funeral was a low point. But we're an Irish family, so it was considered a badge of honor.
