G'z Up Hoes Down was listed but removed on all but the first pressings due to sample clearance issues. Which is a damn shame because the song itself is as good as any of the others.
People never acknowledge Dare Iz a Darkside by Redman (94 also) when that album went in stranger, funkier places than its counterparts with equally solid rapping to back it up.
Back half still has its moments though. I DROP BOMBS LIKE HIROSHIMAAAAAA
Seriously, I half-expected Sin City Part III
Y'all omitted Destroyer in favor of fucking Death Cab. For shame.
It also worked for Kendrick Lamar, since "Hood Politics" from his new album samples "All For Myself" from Age of Adz.
Any smash cut to black that involves a gang member screaming in anger ("Mac's Big Break" has a wonderful Charlie scream) just knocks me over dead with laughter.
Every time the word "Poconos" is said by Mac or Dennis in the Storm of the Century episode, it's a very soft O in the first syllable. (PEAU-cuh-neuhs). Not to mention Dennis always saying "da bridge" in reference to Frank hanging out underneath it.
The Gang Gets Trapped is a severely underrated episode, specifically due to Howerton's blessing of Dennis' mannerisms as he repeatedly discusses the "escalation" of their schemes. Angry whispering in closets, Frank running around with a bullwhip, Charlie's leather shop dreams…glorious nonsense, that episode.
The D&B episode is genius though, easily a top 10 Sunny episode.
Did you watch any of their new show Bedtime Stories? closest thing to Lynch on television today. Especially the Hole and Toes episodes
Homer: Well, time to go to work.
oh god he crams the Thing into a Batmobile and shatters the bottom of the plastic.
Roswell That Ends Well is the single encapsulation of Futurama.
Action Bronson, "Easy Rider"
Can't overlook Jay-Z doing his best verse in a long time on Devil Is a Lie
ab-liva was in the Re-Up Gang back in the mid-2000s when Clipse were getting stalled by their label and making mixtapes. Him and the Brothers Thornton go back a long way.
pissman's yellow mustard!
