This contains arguably Busta Rhymes's best contribution to society and one of the best cheesy one-liners in history.
I have been spinning this album nonstop since it came out last week, and while this isn't my favorite track from it, it is the only song I could find on youtube. Lydia Loveless is a goddess.
Raysism recommended a comment of mine today, so I think it's safe to say I'm moving up in the world.
I just figured out what happened. God, I was so confused.
"Double Shot" of your love was controversial because it mentioned hangovers and alluded to sex, so it got banned on a lot of radio stations, but despite that it still charted.
Oh my God. That's maybe the worst one hit wonder ever.
EDIT: And it is much better in that mashup.
I just looked up the story of that song. Pretty controversial stuff for that era, I guess. I didn't even bat an eye.
I have never in my life heard of Geggy Tah. Thanks for the tip!
Shoulda-had-more-than-one-hit wonders DUAN
I always liked the Proclaimers beyond "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)". Who else comes to mind?
You, sir, have a great name. +1
This is so painful to listen to, but it's so good.
Here.
Speaking of doldrums....
DUAN's early today. My ham loaf's still in the oven. In any case, here's some Paul Simon for a cold, quiet Sunday evening.
This is tragic and not a very happy way to go into the weekend, but it's so haunting.
Ginger ale. There's a great bar in Columbus that "proudly serves Old Crow" and my favorite drink there is Old Crow, ginger ale and a dash of maple syrup.
It's kind of hard to tell what's going on in this song, but I'm pretty sure it's a murder ballad.
As a left-handed guitarist myself, let me just say that I fucking love seeing left-handed guitarists.
