They did try that. Mega Man Legends, Battle Network... There are a few experiments. But so far, it seems people still want the original formula, so that's what they make.

I dunno, I dated a girl on and off for many years. More off than on really. Now we are married and life is great, soooooo.
I really think they should buy out Krikzz and sell official flash carts, then sell official ROMs for maybe $5 each online. I would gladly pay $5 to get a ROM from Nintendo than go to some sketchy site hoping I'm getting a game and not a virus. Considering NES games are all 1 MB or less, it wouldn't even cost them…
Imagine not having right click, like on a Mac! Oh, wait...
Shouldn’t we be talking about how it’s bad for the companies to judge people that way instead of chastising people for giving their honest feedback? Seems like that’s the real problem.
Yeah I don’t understand why that’s not an option here. It’s really the best option for that very reason.
Agreed. The constant reminders in Mario are a huge annoyance for me. There should at least be a way to turn them off.
I know my wife would love to see Call of Cthulhu, though we did just buy an Xbox and that game, so it’s not that critical. At this point, I just wish they’d finally add Crackdown and Crackdown 2. I cannot understand why they are not more focused on adding Xbox-exclusive titles like that to backwards compatibility.
You should give them to me :) In all seriousness, if you don’t want them, at least sell them. Trashing them means that someone out there who does want them can’t get them, further diminishing the supply. So please don’t do that.
YES. I don’t care about SFII, but I want more reissues like this. NES, SNES, Genesis, please please please do more.
I’m visualizing people with really big, wing-like hands floating down.
I like collecting old games and am an original hardware nerd. I run most of the systems through a very nice CRT. Honestly, I play more of my retro games these days than anything new. If you are the sort that can only enjoy games with fancy graphics, then yeah, you will probably not like old games. If you are more…
Regarding region-specific cartridges, it’s usually very simple. For SNES, Super Famicom games fit just by snapping off the tabs in the cartridge tray. N64 has a similar thing - only the placement of the slots on the back of the cartridge is different.
Wish someone would ask them why the first two aren’t backward compatible yet.
Presumably that is only if you want game audio in the headset. Maybe it is simpler if you just want voice chat? Still dumb though.
The real news here is patch notes. Look at all those specific changes they outlined! Nintendo never does that.
The DS4 is probably the first PS controller I have liked, though I still think the stick placement is dumb and the touchpad is beyond dumb. And every display one I’ve tried seems to be completely wrecked, which makes me question the longevity. Still, the buttons feel nice and it overall fits it my hands nicely.
I’d much rather have Snowboard Kids than 1080.
Are certain variants.more susceptible? Like is the Slim better about this? Or the pro?
My wife makes more than I do doing the same job. Actually, I have more responsibilities than she does and have been there longer. So there’s that.
