Yes, but it didn’t have to be this way. This article sheds light on one of the major problems, the government’s mismanagement spiking the cost of electricty. I don’t know how much electricity it takes to make cars, but I am guessing it’s a lot.

That is a gross simplification. Ontario has done lots to make itself less competitive.
