Yeah people are dumb haha. I would say 9/10 times we have stops and 1 out of 10 have a yield. However, any minor road into a major road will have a stop. Yield would be minor into minor.

In Ontario the law is thus: Cars outside the roadway must yield to cars inside the roadway. Whether the driver already on the roadway contributed to the accident is irrelevant, so had this happened here the Mazda would have been 100% liable.

I don't know about anyone else, but I foresee backup cameras becoming too much of a crutch. Like everyone else who's ever operated a motor vehicle, the sideview mirrors and rear windshield has worked for me just fine. Add in the cameras, and I can see a bunch of people using only the backup camera and not looking…
