130 in a 25? LOL.

I dont think that is true. I think that if you got caught going 60 in a 30, likely you'd just get a ticket for going 30 over. I dont think they crush cars here, but yeah you can get a $10k fine.

Yup. As long as you go slower than some, you will be fine, although 140 is quite fast.

Hell of a chance to take.

Unless it's unsafe, I usually roll along at about 7o, today I did that in the far right lane, and didnt pass anyone for 23 kms lol, unless I am on the 401, then I go 75 because you wont get in trouble.

In Ontario on the freeways the speed limit is an annoying 62 MPH. If you go 94 MPH, the fine is cdn $10K. ($ US 9706). It's so ridiculous, because the roads are built to 75 mph standards.

You can in Quebec!!

That is a ton of canadian tire money. I only have like $6 or $7 dollars of the crap. I figure I will hoard it until I have enough to buy something I really want. I am not sure what that would be though.

I drive a 2003 Cavalier with a rock hard suspension and racing seats and a fart cannon muffler.

I also approve how the drive of the GTR died, from curbing his wheels.

That goes for any car. Mine is a 2003 with no rust. My buddy has a 2002, with only about 3,000 more miles than mine (171K kms vs 166K kms) and his is falling apart, and rusted like hell. My friend has also spent a ton of money replacing his clutch and brakes. My brakes have also worn out, but I go at the first

I would have threatened them with the tire iron.

I should note, my car has a timing chain, not a belt.

Its not a belt, it is a chain for sure.

The owners manual says nothing. `Probably why so many cavaliers fail.

LOL indeed, it`s no Audi. Of course there are faster, funner, better riding cars. Anything rides better than my cavalier.

It`s a 2003, with 2.2 Ecotec. I may error on the side of caution. I will examine my owners manual soon, in fact I will do it on my lunch. A walk would do me a world of good. I think I;ll probably go for it in a few weeks.

The exhaust is fine. My bracket fell off the the dealer told me to go away, so I use pipe clamps from Lowes.

Yup. I bought it with about 90k kms on it, and now it has 166k kms, or about 100,000 miles. I feel I am about 3/8ths the way through the cars life.

I guess it depends what your used to. I drove a Corolla for a while, I drove Ford Tempo for a while, I like my cavalier best. It goes fast, it`s fun, cheap, reliable, and enjoyable to drive. Sure, it`s no mercedes, but it was never built to be a S class.
