Impressive Barrow tie-in, considering the subject.

This is going to awesome (when I can actually find one in stock to purchase).

Faster, more powerful cars are more fun (and cheaper here). As everyone has mentioned, gas is cheap. That's a good combination.

This thing is what the GTI should have been years ago. Who wants 210 - 220 HP FWD only when you can have this?

I hadn't considered the bottom-mounted turbo.

It's so sad because the new WRX has the 2.0 DIT for naturally aspirated BRZ money. I think they could do it, although they'd be admitting that the price of the twins was too high for years.

Just doing its part to celebrate the Ohio State victory and the Big Ten's return to relevance.

The first thing on my list when I'm shopping for a fun, fast car is how posh the interior looks and how the dash feels against my cheek.

That's crazy talk. People actually care about performance in a hot hatch?

I do like the option to buy a WRX with less heft and sheet metal if I don't need the cargo space day to day.

If I needed a wagon for space or utility I'd buy it. As it stands right now, I'm happier in a Subaru sedan that's lighter and likely handles better.

I bought a 2015 WRX last July after 2 years in a Prius (don't ask). It was time to return to fun cars. My test drives were done at a local Subaru/VW dealership that is known to be shady, but it's close to work and it was convenient for test drives only. After initially being interested in a BRZ (which I liked but

That steering wheel looks ridiculous.

I'll second this with 4 Dunlop Sport Maxx RTs on a '15 WRX identical to the one above. No problem so far (probably because we haven't seen any snow).

If I lived any further north than where I do, I would switch to all-seasons. My plan after getting the '15 WRX was to see how it goes when the weather got colder. So far I haven't noticed much difference in 30 or 40 degree weather & zero snow. There's some slight tramlining. If we do get a rare snow I might park it.

You have joined a long line of one-uppers in the "Oh yeah, well..." department.

Not flat, but I've always been partial to a VQ in racing trim.

Smug alert.
