DAS RAYCESS! =)

Except maybe the ruler of the Iron Islands.

When he and Sansa jumped into the river, my first thought was, "Oh man that's gonna be super cold on Theon's… oh… no… wait. No it's not."

Nah, she was gonna burn the wildling leader at the stake. That's right up Ser Alliser's alley.

Every time he shows up onscreen, I've taken to shouting, "DON'T TOUCH HIM — HE GOT THE STONE-AIDS!" My wife is not a fan.

It really was — Common and Talib both in their prime. Pharoahe Monch too, right after the release of the "Internal Affairs" record. Plus I met Biz after the show at a gas station near the venue!

If Maggy the Frog is to be trusted, Cersei BETTER be able to handle the death of another kid.

Two quick West-Coast faves: DJ Quik's discography doesn't get nearly enough love from the East — I could listen to "Rhythm-al-ism" all day, every day — and I always thought Celly Cel's debut "Killa Kali" was one of the best gangsta-rap records that no one but me seemed to have heard.

"Speed of Life" eventually led me to Tha Alkaholiks, same reason: the production. "Positively Negative" and "Hit & Run" are still among my favorite beats.

Agree. Caught him on the Spitkicker tour w/Common, Talib, De La & Biz. Best hip-hop show I've ever been to (although seeing Can Ox & J-Live was damn close)

Camp Lo in general is underrated, I think. "2 Dope Boyz" — shit, most of "Stone & Rob Caught on Tape" is regular-rotation in the ride.

"Dead in the middle of little Italy/Little did we know that we riddled some middlemen/Who didn't do diddly." — Maaaan now I gotta go listen to this again.

Onyx, 'All We Got Iz Us' — YES. "Purse Snatchaz" is still one of my all-time favorite tracks.

I was thinking the same thing. This album got a lot of acclaim when it came out, as I recall.

What's the best response if you're in a band, onstage, and some douche requests "Free Bird"? The best one I've come up with so far is to give 'em the finger and announce, "Aw man, I have a free bird here, but I don't know how to play it."

Killer Mike's 'R.A.P. Music' (the first full album he did with all El-P beats prior to the 'Run the Jewels' series) is a great mix of politically-minded hip-hop and head-smashing braggadocio. "Big Beast" gets me way too hype while driving around. POW MUTHAF***A POW! COME UP OFF SOME CHANGE!

Puerto Rican reggae: Cultura Profetica and Gomba Jahbari, to be specific, are among the best.

OST to the film "Sparkle," by Aretha: also very good and underappreciated.

Hey Lean Cuisine: I get it. You want me to eat edamame. But does it HAVE to be in EVERY SINGLE ASIAN-INSPIRED DISH?

S2 was so bad, I honestly don't even remember what happened, aside from Eldritch Palmer's Disco Room of Laser Death.
