I just read this book twice in a row and there is zero mention of Mindy Park being Korean-American. I’ll re-read it again to make sure, but I’m fairly certain there’s not a single indicator of whatever her ethnicity might be.

I agree with you, but Mindy Park wasn’t written Asian. It was discussed back when the casting was announced — nowhere in the book is the character’s race mentioned at all. Park is most commonly a Korean last name, but there are also a lot of British and Scottish Parks, so it’s not 100% clear just from the name.

I'm confused by the message. Presumably, he's against gun control, right? But he's equating gun violence with abortion. Like, what is he trying to say? That abortion and guns are both really great? Or both really bad? It's not a very coherent analogy.

By mere virtue of the fact that people can opt out of negative reviews of themselves, nobody will have any character. It’ll be 5 star people, across the board.

Or that you don’t even have to be particularly good or special, you just have to be ostensibly the protagonist. You could even be an anti-hero and you’ll still deserve it, as long as you’re the main character in your own life.
