Yeah, that scenario definitely did run through my head. I don’t have any plans to mod, so worst case the thing turns out to be a disaster and I can list it as a project bike and take the hit all at once. Or I can just drive it into the ground and hopefully by then I’m ready for a different bike.

Oh so now there are certain places that are good to live in Philly but not anywhere else? London may be difficult and honestly I know little to nothing about real estate in the UK but you can find great places to live in or near both New York and Newport Beach for reasonable amounts of money.

Yeah, I don’t actually live in Newport Beach, I live one town over. Contrary to what people think, the cost of living here isn’t that different from the northeast, if you know where to look. Laguna Beach is a great choice but anywhere in Orange County is pretty awesome.

...wow. I’ve never been to either of those places, except for the airports. Maybe Philly has gotten a little better, it’s been a couple years since I really spent any time there. I know when I was around there the murder rates were off the freaking charts.

Philly just isn’t a nice place. I went to college nearby and I have a bunch of relatives who live in the suburbs. If you’re moving within Philly every time you don’t like your neighborhood, well I guess the silver lining is you will be the world’s foremost expert on moving.
