The game mode is fun at first, but it desperately needs more cards.
After a week you got the meta figured out, and if you actually want to get into the top 4 (it’s not just 1st place that gets points), you need to rely on either an all-type set (all-murloc, all-mech, all-demon) or you pick a few cards that can beat

I’m glad to see that Metroid Prime 2: Echoes gets some recognition these past two years.

The only right way to honor the winning entry:

This was the most frustrating article I’ve ever read on Kotaku. This WoW producer is rediscovering his own game to realize that friction, “stop and smell the roses” moments, and coolness factor over pure balance utility are important things in an MMO?

Speaking of DLC, which of the paid ones is your favorite? (The Squad E one took forever to be released, so I skipped it).

You can play it in any order, but personally I recommend playing Valkyria Chronicles 4 first because a certain reveal is more surprising and shocking if you don’t connect the dots from having played the first game.

I bought all of the DLC except one, but that was last winter when they were reduced in price (I bought 20 bucks for them in total). I restart games because I forgot the controls and/or some game mechanics I have to keep attention to, but completely forgot during the break. Instead of remembering it as I go, I just replay the game to get a tutorial once again.

Not an expert myself, but I think Japan is strict on all things copyright, including counterfeits and modifying products and selling those. Someone got arrested for selling modded PS3 consoles the other day.

Fun fact: Skies of Arcadia was also censored when it was released in the West on the Dreamcast (see here for a list of changes), and the Gamecube version is also based on the Western version, and the same across all regions.
This didn’t really hurt the game, though, and it’s still remembered as a classic.

D.va controller: Activating self-destruct sequence!

While blaming China for everything is all the rage nowadays, I doubt they’re the cause for this. It’s more likely that this arcade was on the decline for a while now, and the newly-introduced tax killed it for good.

Compared to the PC version running at 1080p on a modestly powerful gaming laptop, the Switch version running at a docked 720p...

This must be especially-painful for Blizzard considering they gained some goodwill with the release of WoW Classic a little over a month ago. But now it’s all gone.
